This is called, IN YOUR FACE Illegal Immigration

It may or may not have been the first time an attempted illegal border crossing was live-tweeted.
It very likely was the first time such an event was live-tweeted by a sitting U.S. senator.
During a visit to the border town of Nogales, Ariz., Sen. John McCain, along with three other senators, watched a woman successfully jump the border fence, getting a firsthand look at one of the main issues surrounding immigration reform: how to secure the border.

She didn't make it THIS TIME. That doesn't make this situation any easier to swallow.

Approximately 1.2 MILLION foreigners illegally crossed U.S. borders in 2012, with 75% of them NOT captured, according to the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers.

For those of you who are mathematically challenged, that's 900,000 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who successfully invaded America last year, added to the 20 MILLION-PLUS who are already here.

And 2012 was, relatively speaking, a "slow" year in illegal immigration due to the weak U.S. economy and job market.

Granting amnesty, and eventually citizenship, to all those illegal aliens may be great for them and their tens of millions of "family" members who join them through chain migration.

It may be great for the Democratic Party's voter registration rolls.

It may be great for driving down the wage costs of U.S. businesses.

It may be great for the ratings of Telemundo, Univision, CNN en Espanol, MundoFox and other Spanish-language television networks.

But it's absolutely horrible for the rest of us.
