Apart from Bosman's timely and welcome post, the news outlets today have served up an all-you-can-eat buffet of supposedly negative polling data for Romney. This is a carefully orchestrated performance that's designed to create an upswing for Obama (post DNC disaster) and to dispirit Romney's supporters (post superlative RNC liftoff).

And it can be a very effective technique. Witness the number of gutless GOP wonders (Kristol, I'm talking to you), who stand ever ready to push the panic-and-blame button whenever Romney doesn't look as though he's got the election sewn up, with room to spare, 60 days out.

I beg of you, Romney voters, don't fall for these transparent efforts to dampen our expectations and diminish our efforts to defeat Obama on 11/6/12.

Nemesis, your deluding yourself. If you want to talk about skewing numbers, you need to consider that objective outlets combine numbers from multiple polls, not just the right-leaning Rasmussen. Since the results are within the margin of error for a poll that actually favors republicans, in an election where that 1% almost gets eaten up by North Carolina, it's a serious problem for Romney and reflects that North Carolina is the only swing state Romney would definately win if the vote were today with Florida being a toss-up.

I watched the frenzied audience at all the Obama rallies this weekend. If Obama wins with his distortions God help our Country,

Read this if you're getting sucked into the downward spiral spun by the media. The MSM can't begin to fathom that Obama could actually lose this thing. Now more than ever, our side needs cool, calculating, steadfast fighters. Not doubters, whiners, or finger pointers.

More on the defeatism that grips the Right. I've long thought that Republicans are afraid of winning. So speaks a woman after my own heart nails it:

"Spreading Fear And Despondency"

EXCERPT:
"Recently I’ve been reading the anti-Obama blogsphere, and yesterday it finally got to me.

"I have only one question to ask – are you insane?

"No, let me add a few other questions: Have you gone completely out of your minds? Do you want to lose? And do you understand fully what a loss would mean?

"I hate to say it but I think the answers are yes, yes, yes and no."
