Rick Perry Wanted Bi-National Health Insurance With Mexico

Texas Governor Rick Perry with former President of Mexico Vicente Fox discussing the virtues of open borders.
I just read the text of Rick Perry's remarks to the Border Summit on Aug, 21st 2001. How in the hell is this stuff slipping through the cracks without a single mention in the conservative press? If this had been Obama, Sean Hannity would have been talking about it 24/7 during the last presidential campaign.

There are many passages in the speech that are of great concern to me, but this one really caught my attention.
...Legislation authored by border legislators Pat Haggerty and Eddie Lucio establishes an important study that will look at the feasibility of bi-national health insurance. This study recognizes that the Mexican and U.S. sides of the border compose one region, and we must address health care problems throughout that region. That’s why I am also excited that Texas Secretary of State Henry Cuellar is working on an initiative that could extend the benefits of telemedicine to individuals living on the Mexican side of the border....
Does Rick Perry still support an international health insurance program such as the one he laid out in his speech that day? Will someone in the media please ask him before it's too late?

  2. This one really gets my blood boiling. Notice how that most of these issues which RW and Bosman keep publishing here aren't even being published at Race? I'd say that there is a lack of intellectual curiosity over there too.

  3. Dan, Race is incredibly boring to me. Too many polls, and I don't like having to wade through all of Craig for loser's garbage.

This solidifies what I've been saying for months.

Rick Perry is a world citizen FIRST, and an American SECOND.

He is more interested in being part of the global elites' club and securing donations from international bankers than he is about his country.

This is a dangerous man for this country.

  6. I would expect Perry to be Mexico's favorite candidate for President. We know he's China's

  7. Who will email this to Sean Hannity and ask him??

I'm sure he still has the memo from the top to go soft on Perry, but at some point, Sean will have to decide where his integrity is....

  8. RW, I agree that there are way too many polls at Race. And I also skip pretty much all of the posts by Craig for hadfaewl8osalekjrhq4k2354q, as well as several of the Rombots, and TEX.

  9. If you want it covered on Fox, email it to Michelle Malkin. She's the only person who gets face time there who isn't afraid to expose Perry's skeletons.

You can try Hannity as well, though I'm not sure he'd bring it up.

  14. This sounds like it was not well thought of. The intention is good though, I'll give him that.

  15. Government should support health insurance plans to protect people or lessen health issues. They need to give a fund for this matter.
