"One possible explanation is that people who are seen or consider themselves beautiful tend to be more anti-egalitarian and rightwing," Niclas Berggren, one of the three co-authors of the study, told AFP Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteThis analysis is pretty ridiculous. First of all, it makes one's subscription to a more conservative outlook seem shallow and superficial as one's beauty. It's also insulting and demeaning to us, good looking or not, who hold the view because we've thought through the arguments and seen and experienced the outcome of con vs. lib policies.
Second, aren't 99% of the beautiful people with influence, those in Hollywood, some of the most outspoken liberals in our society?
