With THAT TIME approaching for those to decide if they are going to be a candidate in 2012 for President, Mitt Romney seems to be doing things that a candidate might do:Romney has resigned from the Marriott Board of Directors. Now he's done this once before. Just before ha ran for Governor of Massachusetts back in 2002.
He has hired Rich Beeson as his political director and Neil Newhouse to be his pollster. Beeson was a former political director for the Republican National Committee and Newhouse is a partner in Public Opinion Strategies.
Add the above to the fact that Romney has spent the past week in the Middle East talking to leaders there.
Romney is acting more and more like someone who is getting ready for some type of challenge. I wonder what that could be?
Go Mitt!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to hearing Romney's view of the current situation in Lebanon. 11 Hezbollah ministers resigned from the government in protest from a pending UN-backed tribunal that is set to hand out indictments concerning the assassination of the Lebanese prime minister in 2005. It is widely accepted that key Hezbollah leaders will receive indictments. The situation is very tense right now.
ReplyDeletePablo, if do you find out, please post for us, ok?

Good for Mitt!
ReplyDelete"Newhouse was named “pollster of the year” by the American Association of Political Consultants for his polling efforts in Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown’s successful campaign last year."

I'd say it's looking like a GO!
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking like a run. I sure hope he does. I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't

ReplyDeleteThere is no way that Mitt Romney is not running for President. It's been obvious for a very long time.
