At first, people were willing to give Perry the benefit of the doubt, but as more facts emerge, it begins to look more and more like Perry and his people are playing the religion card--one in which Mormons are considered not Christian and may not run for President of the USA.

AZAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-72107504103885007722011-10-19T15:31:01.353-04:002011-10-19T15:31:01.353-04:00Yes, I strongly believe that Perry is.Yes, I strongly believe that Perry is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-53638387198067893752011-10-19T05:42:18.769-04:002011-10-19T05:42:18.769-04:00Yes, of course he is. We knew this was going to be the playbook when he opened his campaign with the national day of prayer, and the people chosen to organize it--all vocal anti-Mormons.

We know that the Perry camp knew beforehand what Jeffress planned to say. We heard Perry say he knocked it out of the park. Jeffress, and his friends who have come out of the woodwork since, are nothing more than a useful idiots.

But most of all, Perry's actions since the VVC, make his strategy abundantly clear. There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind Perry is playing to the anti-Mormon crowd, and it's the main play. What else has he got?

-MarthaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
