I'm researching my first post on Gov't involvement in healthcare. I think it will surprise some readers.

I note no one answered your remark re "Governor Morman." It seems like it might be a Freudian slip by John King. Could that be how he views him? Time will tell.

Religious bias' might be coming out now as any Socialist candidate or media advocate would desire to belittle such beliefs in God, any God. I still think Romney's advantages would be there (organization, money, etc.) but there wouldn't be the split between Newty and Rick.

The only bad thing I really can say about Santorum is that he has never led anything...nothing, nada, zilch. The buck has never stopped at his desk. He loves to say that he represented his constituents on "right to work", and then hammers Romney over representing his state as a GOVERNOR. I personally like people that have demonstrated leadership by actually serving in chairs of leadership...not just causes.

I'm just glad that it doesn't look like Moonbeam has a chance at winning Minnesota, because it would be sad to see RW cast his lot for him just to take down Romney...Santorum is a very respectable choice and you won't have to feel all icky about placing your vote with Lunacy.

GordonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-2908272383659731662012-02-06T11:36:37.833-05:002012-02-06T11:36:37.833-05:00The comment about the caucuses in Nevada made me c...The comment about the caucuses in Nevada made me chuckle. It was probably a bunch of Ron Paul kids who couldn't get out of bed by 9 in the morning to vote for him. So, they showed up at the late caucus and got kicked out for their trouble. LOL!!

Seriously, the Nevada caucuses were run by each place differently. It's a bit of a hodge podge. Then they added the late caucus for observers of the Jewish Sabbath, which is fine, but could be used to cheat if not done properly, and the mix becomes quite a brew.

I know this might shock people, but Nevada might have lost some people in the last few years. The foreclosure rate is the highest in the nation, and the unemployment rate is higher, as well. I bet a lot of people have tried to find jobs elsewhere and have moved out. I am quite certain that Arizona's growth rate has slowed in the last few years, if it hasn't gone negative, for many of the same reasons.

I just got my Primary ballot in the mail. I vote by mail! Guess who I'm voting for? It won't be Gingrich, Paul, OR Santorum! I like my logic way better than RW's. I think Romney is a winner, and he actually will be able to fix things. Santorum is a nice guy, but.... well, he doesn't have much experience as a leader, and he doesn't have the organization to take on Obama. Wishing Santorum had more money or ability to inspire than he does doesn't get you anywhere, sorry!

AZAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-45249566529340331832012-02-06T11:34:58.747-05:002012-02-06T11:34:58.747-05:00RWN...Is your Romney Derangement Syndrome cronic o...RWN...Is your Romney Derangement Syndrome cronic or just acute?

Either way, gets some treatment already...Jeraldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-2089119930077105792012-02-06T10:40:49.235-05:002012-02-06T10:40:49.235-05:00Look, people, why do attack RWN for his views. As for Santorum....it is funny considering the fact that none of these people could stand the guy a few months ago and he has virtually no chance of winning. Not to mention that fact that he went out of his way to be critical to Tea Party candidates in 2010, preferring the incumbents and mainstream party people. It's only a matter of time--and not much time at that.

Santorum's got no chance, no money, no organization. No executive experience, for pete's sake! No compelling argument for his candidacy other than his social conservatism (which is so rigid that it turns off moderates and independents, without whom there can be no GOP victory in 2012).

Bottom line, Santorum's not a serious presidential contender. He's on a vanity tour (sorry, but there's no other way to characterize it), which will take him straight back to a contract with FoxNews once all this is over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3571954475140446599.post-8595300975709512002012-02-06T01:57:26.580-05:002012-02-06T01:57:26.580-05:00Oh ha ha, another Romney flip flop joke, ha ha!

It's not even clear that he won Iowa, so Santorum has not won a primary or caucus outright, and he still splits the ABR vote with Gingrich.
