Gallup Poll: Romney leads Obama by 2-Obama leads Perry by 5

Head-T0-Head:

Mitt Romney 49% (+2)
Barack Obama 47%

Barack Obama 50%
Rick Perry 45% (-5)

GOP Nomination: (results from August)

Rick Perry 31% (29)
Mitt Romney 24% (17)
Ron Paul 13% (13)
Michele Bachmann 5% (10)
Herman Cain 5% (4)
Newt Gingrich 5% (4)
Rick Santorum 2% (3)
Jon Huntsman 1% (1)

The survey of 889 registered voters was taken September 15-18 and has a margin of error of +/-4 percentage points. The error margin for the sample of 439 Republican and Republican-leaning independents is 6 points.

    Ummm,
    The headline is wrong. Romney leads by "2" not by "20".

    I wish it were 20.
