Romney Pandering to the Oompa Loompa Vote?

With his tan in a can look, one has to wonder if Romney is trying to corner the Oompa Loompa vote. H/T Jerseyrepublican

And then there was this incident.

  2. I was going to let loose with a string of profanity, personal attacks, stomp my feet, hold my breath and threaten to leave and nver come back to this site (the equivalent of a 9 year old running away from home), but then I reminded myself, I'm a Romney supporter, not a Palin Fan.

We Rombots laugh at things like this.

    Touche!

Where's the dog on the roof picture?

  4. But why should we stay here...we're hardly welcome? We're mocked and ridiculed at every turn...oh that's right...you would lose half of your traffic if we left...SORRY...

  7. Dan, I was just kidding...a couple weeks ago I wrote a song parody if Romney sang the oompa loompa song after his debt limit fiasco...it's quite possible you didn't see it. No need to H/T me!!

Where is the picture of the dog on roof?

  9. I didn't include the dog on the roof because that doesn't have anything to do with Ooompa Loompas or Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

But I have referenced Seamus (the dog) in the past.

  10. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is my least favorite movie of all time. It's just so wrong.

  12. Mitt is probably using Lipitor or niacin. I don't see him as a frequent tanner so maybe we should rethink our criticism...:)

  13. I'd by a tanning product called, MITTAN. Leaves no lines unless you want them.

  16. Lol Mike, this was all in jest. I posted this today as a gesture to the Palin folks who were upset at Doug's post yesterday about the Palin bus tour. I also stated in the comments section here that I was still voting for Mitt. You may be just a little too uptight.

  17. Mike, here is your response to Doug's Palin Bus Tour post.

"Doug, one of your most enjoyable pieces. Thanks for the laugh!

  19. Mitt has purchased a home on the beach in LaJolla, California. Maybe he gets tanned on the beach; just sayin'.

When someone asked why he was buying a home there, I responded with the question, "Who doesn't want a house in LaJolla?" For those of you who aren't familiar with California, LaJolla is one of the most beautiful places in San Diego, and San Diego is one of the beautiful places in California, which is saying a lot. Of course, I can't afford to live there, but it's only 5 hours drive from my house, so I've been there a few times!

  20. Not to get "serious" at a non-serious post, but wasn't there a photo during the '08 season of Romney water-skiing with his family, wearing only swim trunks and a life vest? That man knows how to have fun in the sun.

  21. stephen I have tried finding that picture in the last few months and haven't been able too. I remember seeing something like that in '08
