Plymouth County Iowa Straw Poll

With Iowa's Ames Straw Poll taking place in little over a week, there haven't been to many recent polls to give anyone an idea how things are shaping up.

There was a Straw poll taken by Iowa's Plymouth County GOP the other day at the Plymouth County Fair. Here are the Results: (380 people filling out the postcard-sized fair poll)

GOP Nomination:

Michele Bachmann 22%
Mitt Romney 19%
Ron Paul 15%
Herman Cain 8%
Rick Perry 7%
Sarah Palin 7%
Tim Pawlenty 7%
Rick Santorum 3%
Newt Gingrich 3%
Chris Christie 2%
Rudy Giuliani less than 1%
Donald Trump less than 1%
Undecided 7%

    Palin at only 7%?

    Even after "Gone with the Alaskan Wind" had it's premire in Pella?

    Hmmmm.....I thought this was supposed to be a game....oh never mind...

    I read, that folks actually had to WRITE IN their choices name. No ballot.

    This makes this particular straw poll more relevant.
