ROMNEY Increasing his lead in S. Carolina

The ARG poll out this morning has Mitt widening his lead in the critical state of S. Carolina. Interestingly, Mitt is also widening his lead with Tea Party supporters. Wonder when Fox will pick up this news?

A survey of 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Republican primary voters living in South Carolina (471 Republicans, 123 independents, and 6 Democrats). An "*" in the tables indicates responses of less than 1/2 of 1 percent. Sample Dates: July 12-17, 2011. Margin of Error: ± 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

    Romney doing well with the Tea Party doesn't fit the story line, so everyone ignores it.

    Maybe that will help him.

    He may do well in Florida. There are a lot of elderly there. With a little luck, they'll see the name Perry, and think he's the 50's barber turned crooner, and give him a vote. But only if he sings, "That's Amore"
