Just a side note to this video. If you missed it, it's at the 7:40 minute mark. Sarah Palin mentioned that she doesn't like Romneys health care mandate in Massachusets. As she puts it:
"What I did in the state of Alaska, and that was to usher in as much as I could strong efforts to allow competition and more private decisions being made between the health care recipient and their doctor or their insurance company. That's what I engaged in and that's a difference in philosophy"
Gallup had a poll on Health care that points out that:
Massachusetts was NUMBER 1 in the LEAST amount of uninsured citizens
Alaska was NUMBER 38 with 20.2% of it's citizens uninsured.
So Sarah, you may have had a different philosophy than Mitt as Governor of Alaska, but it didn't seem to translate into positive results for your state.
SOURCE
Oh, and BTW, as a born in Boston, lived in Massachusetts my whole life kinda guy, Sarah...Just say you screwed up on Paul Revere.
Now I admit I don't carry a Palinese translation book and perhaps I should. But for the life of me, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. You're only digging yourself into a deeper hole.
I actually thought she was rather supportive of Mitt. Just because another governor would make different decisions, does not mean they are attacking. She even referred to Mitt's commitment to the 10th amendment and expressed confidence that he'd run the country in fiscally sound manner.
ReplyDeleteIn my state, Louisiana, we have an even worse percentage covered (we seem to be at or near the bottom on a lot of things--sigh). I don't hear anyone criticizing Bobby Jindal on health care.
In case she doesn't run, she's saying all the right things to not eliminate Mitt as someone she could potentially endorse.
hey bosman,
ReplyDeletejust curious since you live in massachusetts, how do you like your healthcare?
Bosman, Palin always doubles down on errors, you know that! ha ha.
ReplyDeleteOne more excruciating interview. She has become a parody of herself. This has been a week of complete nonsense.
She is the least articulate politician I can ever remember hearing in my life. And that includes everyone from local on up.
I'm sorry, it's time to move on from Sarah Palin and get serious about the next election.
-Martha,
I'm from Massachusetts. My health insurance under Romney went down. It only started to creep back up when Governor Patrick started playing around with the system and the fees in which helped pay for it.
ReplyDeletePatrick also pretty much added to it everything that Romney refused to put in the original bill.
The mandate doesn't bother me or most of those we know. We had insurance to begin with. We weren't freeriders milking the system
For those interested, there is quite a brouhaha going on over at Wikipedia, where Sarah Palin supporters are being accused of hijacking the Paul Revere entry by trying to add Palin’s version of ringing bells and warning the British, etc. and trying to quote Sarah Palin (and the papers that quoted her) as experts on the subject.
ReplyDeletehttp://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/38678_Palin_Fans_Trying_to_Edit_Wikipedia_Paul_Revere_Page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Paul_Revere#Edit_request_from_Dajames.2C_5_June_2011
Palin's interview with Wallace was completely scripted. She was fed answers via teleprompter for the entire interview and still screwed up.
ReplyDeleteBosman,
ReplyDeleteYou're pathetic. Your own hometown paper can admit she's right, WHY CAN'T YOU? Or, at least leave it alone and move on to the next manufactured Palin controversey. Just get it over with and turn it to a Romney site. You're not going to get the Palin traffic anyway.
Experts back Sarah Palin’s historical account
You betcha she was right!
From Boston Herald:
Sarah Palin yesterday insisted her claim at the Old North Church last week that Paul Revere “warned the British” during his famed 1775 ride — remarks that Democrats and the media roundly ridiculed — is actually historically accurate. And local historians are backing her up.
Palin prompted howls of partisan derision when she said on Boston’s Freedom Trail that Revere “warned the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free.”
Palin insisted yesterday on Fox News Sunday she was right: “Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there. That, hey, you’re not going to succeed. You’re not going to take American arms.”
In fact, Revere’s own account of the ride in a 1798 letter seems to back up Palin’s claim. Revere describes how after his capture by British officers, he warned them “there would be five hundred Americans there in a short time for I had alarmed the Country all the way up.”
Boston University history professor Brendan McConville said, “Basically when Paul Revere was stopped by the British, he did say to them, ‘Look, there is a mobilization going on that you’ll be confronting,’ and the British are aware as they’re marching down the countryside, they hear church bells ringing — she was right about that — and warning shots being fired. That’s accurate.”
LA Times:
ReplyDeleteYou know how Sarah Palin said Paul Revere warned the British? Well, he did. Now, who looks stupid?
You may have heard recently something about that Sarah Palin telling a reporter that Paul Revere warned the British on his famous rousing revolutionary ride.
Now, that so many Americans have wallowed in their smug confirmation that Palin is an idiot unqualified for anything but repeating sixth-grade history, how far, wide and fast do you think the contradictory news will spread that the former governor of Alaska was indeed correct?
That the Republican non-candidate, in fact, knew more about the actual facts of Revere's midnight ride than all those idiots unknowingly revealing their own ignorance by laughing at her faux faux pas? How secretly embarrassing this must be, to be forced to face that you know less than such a reputed dummy.
As it happens, though, such phenomena are regular occurrences in American politics, reminding consumers of news to be wary when some fresh story seems to fit contemporary assumptions so absolutely perfectly.
The well-known fable is Revere's late-night ride to warn fellow revolutionaries that....
...the British were coming. Less known, obviously, is the rest of the evening's events in which Revere was captured by said redcoats and did indeed defiantly warn them of the awakened militia awaiting their arrival ahead and of the American revolution's inevitable victory.
Palin knew this. The on-scene reporters did not and ran off like Revere to alert the world to Palin's latest mis-speak, which wasn't.
Like a number of famous faux gaffes in American politics, the facts of the situation no longer really matter.
The initial impression was eagerly grabbed by so many, starting with the reporter and millions of others gleefully sharing the story that reinforced their beliefs and/or desires.

Revere ‘Warned’ the British Officers
ReplyDelete“At last the [British] officers began to feel the full import of what Paul Revere had been telling them. His words of warning took on stronger meaning when punctuated by gunfire. The sound of a single shot had suggested to them that surprise was lost. The crash of a volley appeared evidence that the country was rising against them. As they came closer to the Common they began to hear Lexington’s town bell clanging rapidly. the captive Loring, picking up Revere’s spirit, turned to the officers and said, ‘The bell’s a’ringing! The town’s alarmed, and you’re all dead men!’”
[Paul Revere's Ride by David Hackett Fischer, pp. 135-6].

Thanks RW...I really had no inclination to post all the facts. I'm glad you're still around.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Martha, I am beginning to think that maybe your comprehension is questionable.
ReplyDeleteIf you did cringe, then I believe that was a gesture of fear as you are slowly realizing that Romney has an actual opponent in Sarah Palin.
jerseyrepublican
Well RWN,
ReplyDeleteI don't want to get to harsh with you because you may turn suicidal and run off in a crying, self pitying rage. So instead, I'll present this question, Do you really think that in all that excitement, Paul Revere said to himself, I better bring a bell?
Have you ever tried riding a horse at full gallop and ringing a bell at the same time?
As to PATHETIC, I'm not the GIRLY MAN who gets all flustered when someone doesn't agree with him. Then runs off in a huff. THAT'S PATHETIC!
Bosman, your credibility is wavering...not a good place to be for the owner of a Republican blog. You might want to consider checking your facts before writing your pieces. You have a good opportunity here to run a quality blog. If you remember, Race was invited to the Republican convention last time around...if you get serious and stop the ad nauseum Mitt building and any-other-candidate trashing maybe you'll be invited to the conversation as well.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
hamaca, I noticed the same thing. In fact, she hasn't applauded any other contender as much as she has Romney, yet some of your fellow supporters see things differently?
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Bosman, the facts are the facts!!! Don't be mad at Palin or RW because you don't know your history. It doesn't matter anyway, because the damage has already been done with the Paul Revere thing...it will live on like Russia. So, in the end, Romney benefits from Palin actually being correct.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
JR<
ReplyDeleteI am a Romney supporter. I was a strong supporter of him from the beginning.
To tell you the truth, I'm getting sick of the Palin supporters SITTING ON THEIR ASS complaining that Palin isn't getting a fare shake here.
Put your WHINING MOUTH where your money is and join the Frey.
If you want pro-Palin posts, WRITE A FEW!
BTW Bosman, I appreciate you posting the video. What did you think of her overall performance? Some are saying she could be a serious candidate, not just for the nomination, after that interview...what are your thoughts?
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
BTW, Revere wasn't ring any F#%#ING BELL while doing the ride as Palin said.
ReplyDeleteI suggest you listen to her interview in the North End again!
Bosman...who gives a shit who you support...you run and own a Republican site, you no longer have the luxury of being a zealot. I guess you can do whatever you want to do...but nobody will take this site seriously if you continue posting untruths about other candidates. This has nothing to do with Palin...it's just a little advice from one old ROS'er to the next.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWhat are my thoughts JR?
ReplyDeleteI'll save them for her next NO FOX NEWS interview.
If you get my drift?
Is this what we're resorting to now...you find out your wrong and rather than man up and admit it...you look for one detail that might have sounded incorrect the day she was stealing Romney's thunder?
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
BTW, what did you think of the rest of the article?
I'll reserve judgment on the quality of her interviews when I see her do a few NON FOX ones.
ReplyDeleteYou mean like the 17 non Fox news interviews she took during her bus tour? Or perhaps like the Long Island q&a? I asked an honest question, thinking I could have an adult dialogue with the owner of the site. What good is this place if the premise of every interaction becomes intellectually volatile? I enjoy discussing, debating the days political news...you should try it sometime.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
JR,
ReplyDeleteHow can you equate the FOX NEWS Wallace interview with Palin getting softball questions while getting off a bus?
Here is one Palinista who would now jump ship for Mitt - HAHA!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/op_ed/view.bg?articleid=1343321&srvc=home&position=emailed
I'm simply saying that I;d like to see her go on CBS , ABC, NBC. where she's not on friendly territory and answer questions I KNOW she wouldn't be privy to ahead of time.
ReplyDelete"You're pathetic. Your own hometown paper can admit she's right, WHY CAN'T YOU?" Shhhhh, don't you know the narrative: Fact do not matter.
ReplyDeleteBosman, I understand what the digg meant. If she runs for President she will do those interviews. As of now, she is not running for President and she is employed by Fox. RIght now we have that interview to judge. The word on the street is that she did an excellent job...just wondering what your opinion of the interview was. Obviously my biased viewpoint felt she did a great job. She was talking policy and had some good ideas about how to move forward in Afghanistan and Libya. She talked about the hard truth involving entitlements. She pretty much ran the gamut as far as current affairs go. I cannot believe that you have no opinion on the things she brought up in the interview?
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
jersey....
ReplyDeleteIf he has no opinion, that means she did a good job and he won't admit it.
A.J.R.
Also Bosman, you're assuming that she had previous knowledge about what questions she was going to be asked...you have no proof of that but you're probably right...everyday she is engaged in political discussion and current affairs...so she would have to be the moron you think she is by not figuring out what Wallace was going to ask. Not all that difficult.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Bosman...
ReplyDeleteI would also like to see the proof that Palin had previous knowledge of the questions that Wallace asked.
A.J.R.
AJR, I know but there is a lot of material to discuss about that interview. She talked policy for the majority of it...isn't that what the Rombots always criticize her for not doing? They got their wish, now what do they think of her stances on the policies? I don't think that's such an unreasonable question for me to ask.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
BTW Bosman, your welcome for giving your site so much traffic lately. I felt bad that I was neglecting RS for the past few weeks...now if we can get RW, OJ and AJR to comment as much as we used to...your google ratings can climb back up.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Her interview was horrible. She mixed manic with a lot of baby talk....both being huge turn-offs. And...as I said earlier...watch the interview...watch her eyes...she was fed answers via teleprompter. Sarah remains...a phony.
ReplyDeletejersey,
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is unreasonable for you to ask either but the bulk of the Rombots always go silent when Palin does well in interviews (i.e. discussing policy).
A.J.R.
Anon 8:26,
ReplyDeleteHi dd. Forgot to say Romney 2012 you liberal fraud.
A.J.R.
Oh, "she mixed manic with a lot of baby talk," you, my friend, just mixed stupid with a lot of moron.
ReplyDeleteI feel kinda sad for you...
jerseyrepublican
AJR, you're right they either go silent, or they insist that she knew the questions before hand or that she was fed the answers during the interview.
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, when I read these comments I get a little angry but mostly I laugh because if they underestimate her this much...let's just say that I hope they continue to underestimate Sarah Palin in the uneducated way that they do. I hope Romney and T-Paw and Obama underestimate her in the exact same way.
jerseyrepublican
AJR,
ReplyDeleteTake a D E E P breath.
I don't need to present proof that Palin had the answers ahead of time.
That's YOUR ASSUMPTION.
I said, I would reserve my comments on the quality of he interviews and the depth of her knowledge when I see he do an IN DEPTH INTERVIEW in a NON FOX format.
Kind of like Mitt Romney did the other day on CBS. When he lectured Erica Hill on Bankruptcy.
BTW, You ought to view it, it'd QUITE GOOD!
BTW,
ReplyDeleteWhat grade do you give the success of Palin's efforts in Health Care while a half-term Governor of Alaska?
Half Credit?
ReplyDeleteTo any and all sheep who say Paul Revere used a bell and fired gun shots during his midnight ride...
ReplyDeleteYou are totally incorrect. I live in Massachusetts. I have studied our history thoroughly.
Paul Revere's ride was intended to be quiet and stealthy. He was trying to avoid alerting the British who lived in town.
Revere went door-to-door to revolutionary households to quietly alert them the British were coming.
Palin was incorrect. She clearly has not done her homework. And anyone here who are pretending she is correct... you are showing your true colors of being emotionally tied to Palin and defending her at every chance you get.
You are making yourselves look pretty bad. I take my credibility seriously, and I hope you all do that some day.
Bos,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice but I don't need to take a deep breath. You are the one flipping out...not me.
BTW....I do watch Romney on other formats and believe me, I am way more fair to him than you and the Rombots ever are to Palin or any other candidate for that matter.
A.J.R.
Bosman as Palin said in the interview...it's a matter of differing philosophies. Just the fact that she didn't sign a bill into law, introducing mandates to the masses, which ultimately led to inspiring ObamaCare...I'd have to give her a better grade than Mr. Romney.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you did suggest that she had the questions beforehand...if you're going to outright lie about what you wrote...then you should, at least, be smart enough to delete that comment.
jerseyrepublican
A.J.R.
ReplyDeleteSo you admit that Paul Revere did not ring any bells or fire any shots?
And you admit his Midnight Ride was not intended to warn the British?
Because that's what the Boston Herald article said.
And clearly Palin was wrong about that aspect of the story.
Facts are stubborn things.
Bos,
ReplyDeleteI don't care what she did for Health Care in Alaska. I don't want the government involved in Health Care. I'm glad you are happy with what Romney did in MA. Whatever floats your boat.
BTW...The Half-term Governor slam is getting old. We get it. You need to get a new Palin dig. Why don't you talk to Ellie or Martha....I'm sure they have plenty of good new insults. Or you can go to this loony Palin-hating site. I bet you can find some great new insults there.
http://malialitman.wordpress.com/
I'm sure Ellie would give that site two thumbs up.
A.J.R.
Sam, I believe she said the colonists were ringing the bells and firing the warning shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat you people don't get is that she had just taken a tour and the info was probably passed on during the tour. Knowing it was one of those unknown facts about Revere's, "WILD RIDE," she baited the press and they ran with it.
jerseyrepublican
If you would watch the video with an open mind you will see that she's reading the coherent comments from a teleprompter. When she gets manic and babyish...she uses her very own word salad. Sarah remains, a lying phony....and Fox helps her do it.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
ReplyDeleteSo if Romneycare led to Obamacare, what would have happened INSTEAD of Obamacare if Romney never passed Romneycare?
SINGLE PAYER, GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE.
And why did Obama OPPOSE Romneycare in his 2008 campaign? Why did he flip-flop on mandates? Why did he bribe Senators to vote for Obamacare? And why did Obama never consult Mitt about health care, if he was so inspired by his plan?
Sam, you are correct...they are stubborn things...read and learn.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Anon 8:54,
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to sign you name again dd. And dd remains...a lying liberal fraud.
A.J.R.
Sam...ARE YOU SERIOUS? Hopefully, for Mitt's sake, he isn't using that rationale as he forms a strategy to combat the MassCare vs. ObamaCare debate!!!
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
jerseyrepublican
ReplyDeleteThe actual statement is that Paul Revere sounded warning shots and rang his bell.
And if the information was fed to her during the bus tour, why didn't she know it in the first place?
And why did she look so dumbfounded and uncomfortable when she paused and said "He warned the........... *deer in headlights look* British that...
Let's just say Palin's problems are far worse than her lack of knowledge of American history. And they mostly have to do with her thin skin and whining.
Sam, let me get this straight...we should applaud Romney for passing MassCare because if he hadn't then maybe we would have ended up with a single payer system? Seriously? I think your posting privileges should be revoked for one week for attempting to make that argument.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Rombots would know plenty about thin skin and whining. All you do is cry like babies whenever they is any criticism of your hero. Get ready for plenty of criticism if Romney is the GOP nominee because the mainstream media is going to rake him over the coals. Hope you guys and gals can take it.
ReplyDelete9:04 was me.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
JR,
ReplyDeleteIf I had proof that she had the questions ahead of time, WHY would I need to see her in unfriendly territory?
I'm simply pointing out that SHE'S ON FOXES PAYROLL, and she did a FOX INTERVIEW.
By performing well in a non-Fox stting with an indepth interview, it would put any doubts I have, to rest.
Now you can READ INTO that any way you like. I know you will.
jerseyrepublican
ReplyDeleteSo you admit you were wrong about Palin's misunderstanding of Paul Revere's ride? If so, I am proud of you.
My point about Romneycare was simple. You cannot blame him for Obamacare.
Sam, it really doesn't matter at this point anyway...the damage has been done...sure she was vindicated by Revere's own writings and Revolutionary War scholars at the Revere House but you might be right, she might have misspoke about ringing bells...so that completely refutes every other portion of the statement that were facts...you know the important parts.
ReplyDeleteBut like I said...it doesn't matter anyway...the damage was done. If it hasn't hurt her image yet...it will so you guys should be happy. I know Palin FACTS matter little to her detractors so you guys have another claim to fame. Congrats!!!
jerseyrepublican
Sam, it doesn't matter who I blame. It matters what the average, American voter will think when the debate is over. It's barely just begun.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
jersey,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it obvious who the Rombots fear the most? They may act like they don't and dismiss her as stupid....but they just can't seem to stop talking about her. You would think they would ignore her if she was as stupid and not a threat as they claim she is.
A.J.R.
Drudge has a pic of Paul Revere with a link to both the Boston Herald and LA Times articles (both admit Palin was right).
ReplyDeleteThey think about Palin way more than I do.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
RW,
ReplyDeleteSam says those articles are wrong and whatever a Rombot says is Gospel so oh well.
A.J.R.
AJR
ReplyDeleteThis is a Palin thread. Who would you expect us to be talking about?
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!
What a stupid comment!
Sam,
ReplyDeleteWatch your mouth you little Rombot drone. Nobody talks to me like that...especially some little two bit droid.
A.J.R.
I am not going to be talked down to by some guy who spends his days kissing some politican's ass.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
AJR, that's one of the reasons I get a kick out of this site...watching them squirm when Palin makes news like the time her clambake got top billing in the biggest and most influential NH newspaper and Romney's rollout was pushed to the 3rd page.
ReplyDeletePalin is so much more interesting that her clambake pushed Romney's announcement from 1st page news to 3rd page news...he couldn't even warrant 2nd page after Palin's clambake - that must hurt!!!
jerseyrepublican
I cannot call your comment stupid?
ReplyDeleteWhat else can't I do?
Your comment at 9:19 is ironic to the core BTW
So...the Rombots and the libs have more in common than support for universal health care...they're willing to buy in in to any Palin conspiracy...let the facts be damned.
ReplyDeleteAJR, don't let Sam bother you...did you read his rationale about MassCare...apparently we should thank Romney for passing it because if he hadn't, we probably would have ended up with a single payer system...hahahaha talk about the king of stupid comments...
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
...and support for global warming caused by man...support for ethanol subsidies...etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually glad to see Palin in the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteFor one, she keeps the attention off Tim Pawlenty, who I actually have real concerns about.
Also, I hope she runs. She will be in the spotlight every day. Pawlenty will go nowhere, and Mitt will be the anti-Palin candidate.
And New Hampshire (where I grew up) will never vote for Palin.
RUN SARAH RUN!!!!
Based on Sam's arguments, we should be thankful for ObamaCare too. Afterall, Obama wanted single payer.
ReplyDeleteSam,
ReplyDeleteYou don't know me. I don't kiss anybody's ass. I am way more fair to Romney that the vast majority of the Rombots have ever been to Palin.
You come on here and Race with your little smart ass attitude talking down to everybody who disagrees with you.
A.J.R.
Sam,
ReplyDeleteBe careful what you wish for...you just might get it.
A.J.R.
So her clambake gets top billing in New Hampshire.
ReplyDeleteThat's a reason to to bring in more support for her. That should bring up her Facebook numbers.
What credentials
HaHaHaHa!!!
Wow, there is already 75 comments. You're welcome Bosman!!!
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
BTW, if you ever monetize this blog...I think the Palin supporters deserve a cut...
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteWhat does it say about the flip flopper if he can't even make the front page the day after announcing in NH. My god. He's supposedly the freaking front runner. That must have been quite embarassing to Romney and his staff.
Nah Bosman it doesn't boost Palin's credentials but it does say something about Romney's...and it's not good.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Hey JR, RWN, and AJR,
ReplyDeleteAccording to you guys, you better hope Lady Gaga doesn't decide to run.
She's more popular. And heck, she can even sing!
HaHaHaHa!!!
I emailed that video of Romney reiterating his embrace of man made global warming to about 50 people. You should have seen some of the responses I got. Most of them were not previously anti-Romney. They are now.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteAll kidding aside, I REALLY HOPE SHE RUNS!
ReplyDeleteThere are WAY MORE folks that DON'T LIKE her than like her.
THE SILENT MAJORITY!
You know, the ones who speak at the voting booth!
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteYou really need to work on those jokes. They are so lame. Leave the humor to people who can do it. You are much better at just being a Romney hack.
A.J.R.
Bosman, the silent majority...I heard of them, aren't they the ones who didn't vote for Romney last go around? That's right he spent millions of dollars of his fortune trying to buy their vote and all he got was bad billing at the convention.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
You're right JR!
ReplyDeleteSo one needs to write the truth a bout Palin, to bring you guys out.
I'M SO INSPIRED NOW!
...because not only did he look pathetic echoing Al Gore's position, but he looked weak in doing so. He just doesn't have what it takes. The man has won ONE election...and only won ONE primary in '08 despite outspending all of his opponents combined. What makes anyone think it will be different now? Especially since he seems to be running as the moderate candidate.
ReplyDeleteAll kidding aside...I can honestly say that I will vote for Romney if he is our nominee...of course Obama might be the conservative choice in that match up...hahaha JK - I'd vote for Romney!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Jersey...Romney couldn't even beat that complete fraud Huckabee. That is just sad.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
JR, last time didn't count.
ReplyDeleteIt WASN'T HIS TURN!
HaHaHaHa!
Run Sarah Run!
Pretty please?
I'd vote for Palin too!
ReplyDeleteBut I'd prefer lady Gaga!
Bosman goes back to his childish core...we showed him up so now he is going to post some comedy edit he finds on youtube so he can get the last laugh...and he calls the Palin supporters babies...
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
I thought we were all just having fun?
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteWhy do you always put HaHaHa! in your posts...It makes you sound like a frothing loon. As teledude from Race would say....Just trying to help.
A.J.R.
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteThe Lady Gaga joke sucked the first time and now you are going back to it again. Seriously...stay away from the comedy. You really suck at it.
A.J.R.
This business about how Mitt cannot make the front page of the Union Leader newspaper...
ReplyDeleteAs someone from New Hampshire, the Union Leader, while it is Conservative, it is a hackjob organization like Fox News (and it's no coincidence both supported McCain in 2008).
The Union Leader hates Romney, and loves to make money off Palin.
No worries. Mitt is going to win NH big time. Good luck using media coverage as a barometer of the voters.
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteI think it is time for your blankee, bottle and nappie. Mommy will come in soon and belch you. Sweet dreams wittle baby Bosman!
A.J.R.
Future Tea Party ad...
ReplyDelete"Regarding the 2012 elections between President Obama and Governor Romney, after much deliberation, we have decided that President Obama is the conservative choice this country desperately needs."
HAHAHA
jerseyrepublican
JR,
ReplyDeleteHow about a post comparing the qualities of Lady Gaga vs Sarah Palin?
Successful business woman.
Has a LARGE DEDICATED following
100....200 comments?
What do you think?
Hey AJR, I like his hahaha...I tend to do that myself.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Bosman,
ReplyDeleteI'm begging you...please stop the Lady Gaga jokes. They really suck and you really are starting to look like a fool. I'm telling you this because I care about your reputation. You aren't funny. You just have to look in the mirror and face facts.
A.J.R.
That's cool, I like Lady Gaga...she has a huge following. Hopefully it will show up on the first Google search page and the young vote will open their eyes to Palin.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea!!!
jerseyrepublican
AJR, I don't mind the Lady Gaga jokes...what Bosman doesn't realize is that her music is well respected and she is supposed to be a pretty smart lady. If he wants to make the comparison...all power to him.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
AJR,
ReplyDeleteWhat have you got against Lady Gaga?
Maybe her STICK-TO-IT-NESS?
Hels a job and hasn't quit on her fans?
Draws larger crowds?
What?
Everybody knows, the butt of a joke never likes the joke.
ReplyDeleteI thought Bosman's Lady Gaga = Sarah Palin joke is rather funny (and accurate).
My, my what an interesting collection of some snarky remarks!
ReplyDeleteWhile I've never been a Palin groupee, I've appreciated the energy she has brought the R party. I believe she been smeared numerous times by the left and sometimes by the right. (Oh, that the MSM had vetted Obama.....oh, but they didn't want to do THAT!) I totally support her right to say what she wants. I will be honest and say I thought it was "tacky" by not showing a little "respect" for Romney's announcement, as I believe, MOST OTHER possible candidates would've have done. I do not think Romney would've done that to anyone else as neither would Santorum, Bachmann, etc. Just my opinion.
The Paul Revere story........I'm just wondering how many others previously knew that segment of the story? Did even her supporters have to go research it out? I would've!
I know I would make mistakes doing as much talking as Palin does, but certainly the "controversary" could've been avoided by realizing MANY are NOT familiar with that part of the story. She could've communicated that fact.......and THEN educated others on the "rest of the story." There could be responsibility on her part as well as the media's part.
That being said.........why don't we move on beyond the "ugliness" and concentrate on winning the WH, the Senate and retaining the House?! We need to concentrate on Jobs, the Economy and our Freedoms! There is NO perfect candidate. Looking for one will be disastrous. As Haley Barbour admonished us: "The MAIN THING is to keep the MAIN THING, the MAIN THING!"
AMEN!

ReplyDeleteI agree that we all should unite. But how could we? We're all "frothing loons!"
Amen, I appreciate your input. It was honest and thoughtful...now go mind your own business and let us have our little Monday morning fun.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA
In the end we will all support the nominee, not all of us (some of the Romney supporters have already admitted that they couldn't vote for Palin and others have already admitted that they voted for President Obama last time around) but the rational ones will vote for whoever our nominee is!!!
jerseyrepublican
This reminds me of a movie I saw probably a couple of decades ago--"About Last Night." Rob Lowe's and James Belushi's characters are at work in their restaurant supplies sales jobs and at one point get in a heated argument which ends up with the following exchange:
ReplyDelete"F#%& you!"
"No, F#%& you!
"NO, F#%& YOU!
The boss shows up and they quickly pick up phones and pretend they're on sales calls.
Anyway, one outcome of all this ado is that many people will, or have been, motivated to study up on American history. If that can get people thinking about what the colonists were originally fighting for, that's a good thing--and is more important than whether Sarah was right or wrong on whichever point.
If people can then see where Obama and crew are trying to deviate from the values the founding fathers intended for the country, then hopefully some will wake up and be ready to vote against that direction.
Hey AMEN,
ReplyDeleteWHO do you think Barbour was REALLY talking to when he said all that?
Perhaps those who let the term "THIRD PARTY" cross their lips without dismissing it as a DEAD END?
we'll let queen palin and her wrshippers win the popularity contest while mitt wins the presidency.
ReplyDeletePlease sarah get in and run so you will get torn apart and then quit halfway through. Run Sarah Run!! But no, the queens loyal supporters and ass kissers (rw, ajr, jr, oj,) will hopefully not commit suicide when the mama grizzly decides her moment in the spotlight is over and will go into hibernation and read all of her newspapers. she was nothing but a MW.
Bosman,
ReplyDeletePalin made it clear that she doesn't want to be a third party. If somone chooses to go that route, it will not be her. She simply "ringing the bells" and "firing the shots" as a warning that it COULD HAPPEN if the GOP does not stick to the fundamentals of the party. She's absolutley right.
Yes, Palin is warning Obama that she's going to run against him, but she hasn't been knocking on doors and getting her organization together!!!!
ReplyDeleteWHAT A COMPARISON!!!!!!
My abs hurt!!!
RW, that's an interesting point...was Palin's statement a metaphor of the current political state of the Republican Party?
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sam, your abs hurt...it's probably gas.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
RWN,
ReplyDeleteDon't you think she could have qualified her explanation by stating something like, "Yes, but if that happened, Obama surely would be re-elected."
JR, I think it may have been a metaphor for the state of the country.
ReplyDeletePalin's popularity at the clam bake was not by serious politicians or serious voters. Her popularity was within the celebrity paparazzi segment who will follow anyone around.. Paris Hilton, Pee Wee Herman, etc. Sarah remains, a lying fraud. She is not running for anything except money.
ReplyDeleteHas Palin claimed that Paul Revere friended her on Facebook yet?
ReplyDeleteBosman,
ReplyDeleteRegardless, you know as well as I that there are many in the tea party movement that have threatened a third party. Palin is not one of them. She said it could happen, but hopes it does not. The consequences don't need much of an explanation.
Anon 10:09, what a nerdy thing to say.
ReplyDeleteJust a side note guys,
ReplyDeleteI haven't had this much fun on a post in awhile!
t's been a revealing week into the psyche of Sarah. And, her refusal to admit she made a mistake to Chris Wallace shows a little girl with a little curl who'd have a tantrum if someone corrected her. Nice presidential material?
ReplyDeleteBosman,
ReplyDeleteI get the joke and comparison. It just sucked. Sorry that you have no comedic talent.
A.J.R.
RW, for someone they claim to be an embarrassment, they constantly acknowledge the influence Palin has...interesting.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Interesting question folks:
ReplyDeleteWho is more presidential?
Serial Whiner Ron Paul, or Serial Whiner Sarah Palin?
RWN,
ReplyDeleteShe could have said something like, I WOULD BE AGAINST A THIRD PARTY. I want to defeat Obama AT ALL COSTS!
She didn't!
Ellie or Martha can just sign your name already? We know you want everybody to think that there are thousands and millions of other Republicans like you but c'mon how about you honestly join the conversation. You might have some fun and we might learn something from you.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sam from MA said..."Everybody knows, the butt of a joke never likes the joke. I thought Bosman's Lady Gaga = Sarah Palin joke is rather funny (and accurate)."
ReplyDeleteOf course you found the joke funny. After Romney, the @$$ you smooch the most is Bosman.
BTW...Weren't you the guy trashing Reagan last night on Race. You basically were calling him a liberal so Romney could get some Conservative cred (at least that is what that Smack guy & teledude thought). You go by the name Jon Huntsman for Obama....that is a terrible name. How long did it take you to think that one up?
A.J.R.
The obama administration are secretly praying for palin to enter the race and become GOP nom.
ReplyDeleteAre Sarah's supporters going to go ballistic (riots, looting) when she officially declines to run?
ReplyDeleteInteresting question folks:
ReplyDeleteWho has more gas Sam from MA or Anonymous?
jerseyrepublican
When you actually want to have a serious discussion I will be ready...until then we can discuss your bloated bowels AKA your sense of humor.
Sam from MA said..."9:51. I agree that we all should unite. But how could we? We're all "frothing loons!"
ReplyDeleteThis coming from the guy who trashes anyone who dares to disagree with anything Romney says or dares to support someone who isn't Romney. Your idea of uniting is all of us supporting Romney and shutting up.
A.J.R.
Actually AJR,
ReplyDeleteReagan was responsible for the MA Health Care Mandate.
During his administration, he passed a MANDATE (Law) requiring hospitals to treat anyone in their emergency rooms regardless of insurance.
Hence, the birth of the "FREERIDER"!
AJR (AKA SMACK)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was trashing the great American hero Reagan for ending the Cold War and restoring America's position as #1 in the world... yep
You saw the conversation (since you were part of it the whole time) and you willfully disregarded my points about how Reagan would lose the GOP primary today.
Which he would, of course. He didn't balance the budget, used to be a Democrat, and used to be pro-life. And Reagan was proof that you don't have to meet every God Damn litmus test to be a great president.
Look Bosman...the cavalry has arrived for you...granted they are a bunch of liberals but hey as long as they are trashing Palin.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
jersey wrote...."Ellie or Martha can just sign your name already? We know you want everybody to think that there are thousands and millions of other Republicans like you but c'mon how about you honestly join the conversation. You might have some fun and we might learn something from you."
ReplyDeleteEllie could teach us how to vote for Democrats. She's real good at it.
A.J.R.
This cat-and-mouse game can only last so long. People may give up on waiting for her to announce her candidacy. They may begin to quit on the Quitter.
ReplyDeleteSam,
ReplyDeleteNot Smack. Sorry to burst your bubble.
A.J.R.
Anon, what you don't understand about us is that we are just looking to be treated respectfully on this site. Over and over again, FPP's refer to Palin supporters as mindless followers when in fact we are thoughtful supporters. We will accept whatever outcome occurs during the primary and then vote accordingly. It is some of the Romney supporters who have already said that they would vote for Obama, or not vote, or write-in Romney...they're the ones who should be on suicide watch.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sam,
ReplyDeleteBTW...I said that was what Smack and teledude thought. I didn't give my opinion. I thought you were smarter than the rest of us because you support Romney. You need to bone up on that reading.
A.J.R.

Hi Ellie....you could have wrote Money Whore instead of MW. Bosman and Sammy wouldn't care. They would chuckle too.
A.J.R.
AJR
ReplyDeleteYou aren't Smack? So why did you say "That Smack guy?" LOL!!!
That gives it away totally!
I never said I was smarter because I support Romney. I just think we respectfully disagree on what kind of president we need right now.
We don't need a whiner. We need a leader who boldly stands up for himself without whining. Someone who has proven his ability to turn things around.
JR,
ReplyDeleteWell stated. If Palin gets a fair shake, and falls short...I can live with that and commit to supporting the nominee. However, if she DOES NOT get a fair shake, all bets are off. But, my vote is unlikely to matter anyway. I live in MN.
If she's "stupid" and unqualified," the Rombots and GOP establishment hacks shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Sam , you are way off base about AJR...he is not Smack, but whatever.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
I wonder why only men support the quitter? Makes me think they're thinking with the wrong head.
ReplyDeleteSam,
ReplyDeleteBelieve what you want but I'm not Smack. Everybody is accusing me of all these alternate personalities. First I was Mitt Speak, now Smack. Next I will find out that I am Alex and Greg.
If you ever paid any attention on anything other that how great Romney is...you would have noticed me making fun of Smack claiming that Pain.is.not.running.
A.J.R.
Hey Bosman,
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about Reagan.
So he is Responsible for Romneycare.
AJR,
ReplyDeleteYou were not Mitt Speak, Get Real is.
That's it! Bosman hit the nail on the head. Romney can run ads for the next 18 months blaming Reagan for RomneyCare. Problem solved. You're a freaking genius!
ReplyDeleteWell AJR, I know who you aren't. You are not TEX or else you'd be writing stuff like this:
ReplyDeletecretin mitt romeny,crony
lies.palin throws crooks
like mittens into prison,
for breakfast.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My abs hurt again!!!!!!
Anon 10:38,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info but I do realize that I wasn't Mitt Speak.
A.J.R.
Sam,
ReplyDeleteI will be fair and admit that TEX goes WAY overboard. Like I said, I am way more far to Romney than the vast majority of the Rombots are to any other candidate.
You really need to do something about that gas. Get some ex-lax and find the toilet.
A.J.R.
Thanks for the advice AJR
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware that constipation hurts your exterior, especially your ab muscles.
RW, you didn't know this...this is the Rombots new approach. They have a debate going on over at Race how Romney is a better conservative and has done more for the country than Reagan.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sam, I think AJR was referring to your single ab muscle...your stomach.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
AJR
ReplyDeleteI've figured out who you are now.
A.J.R. stands for "A Jersey Republican."
BINGO!!!!!
AJR,
ReplyDeleteWhen I went after Trump and Giuliani, I didn't hear any complaints.
So your indignation, is only selective?
JR, I browse the comments from time to time, but frankly, the site bores me to tears. It's the same people repeating the same tired old talking point repeatedly. Folks like Huntsman for Obama have picked up where Craig for Huck left off. I'll admit...I even get tired of reading TEX's comments.
ReplyDeleteI just realized something...Romney really is a nerd and his supporters are bitter nerds as well...that's why they're not funny, lack a personality and praise the Olympic turnaround...something Greece handled and didn't get near the accolades Romney gets.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sam,
ReplyDeleteClose genius but no cigar.
A.J.R.
RW, Huntsman for Obama is Sam from MA - hahaha
ReplyDeleteI know.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA
Sam, actually AJR stands for Another Jersey Republican...he's my brother but way to go deciphering your paranoid conspiracy theories.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Thanks to Chris Wallace, we now clearly understand the real difference between "interviewers" and "gotcha journalists"....a script via teleprompter.
ReplyDeleteRW - okay - duh...that went over my head...
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
jerseyrepublican
Last week was quite a week, because if Sarah wanted to attract attention, she did! Lucky for us, she attracted the worst kind of attention. Each day brought a memorable moment or quote: Piper pushing and trying block reporters, Sarah explaining that the "Statute" of Liberty was a reminder not to make the mistake that other countries made (Give me your tired and poor.....), and her own special version of Paul Revere's Wild Ride with guns blazing and bells ringing (Sarah never was very good at explaining Midnight Rides. Her description of her own Midnight Ride was equally off the mark). If things weren't bad enough, she stole the attention from Romney who was trying announce his candidacy (while Sarah plays the tease, will she or won't she, but please donate to her PAC). Rounding out her Excellent Adventure, even the do-over explanation of Paul Revere warning the British not to take our arms may play well with the NRA but not the history teachers. The fact that her pee-people tried to change Wikipedia to represent Palin's version makes it look as bad as their gaming the vote at DWTS. In the end, we've had a good show! Gas up the bus, Sarah, Michele Bachmann is heading to Waterloo, Iowa, and Rick Santorum is waiting in the wings. Does Jon Stewart ever want for material for his show?
ReplyDeleteHaha Romney's a nerd and got upstaged by a clam bake - Sam has gas.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Race42012 is getting pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteI decided to leave it forever... and I went back to argue for a thread.
Smack, TEX, teledude, and Adam X are all on my nerves. They never say anything new. They all spam and spam and spam.
I usually jump in to have meaningful discussions, and then get dragged in by Smack. He just pisses me off too much, I can't let him go unchallenged.
Perhaps I ought to ignore him. It's not like he holds any sway or influence with voters... or anyone else (including myself) for that matter... lol
JR,
ReplyDelete...a private clam bake planned at the last minute with no formal press release or TV coverage.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Funny you call me a nerd. You don't know anything about me, except my snarky remarks and persistence.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead, keep insulting me and calling me a nerd, that's going to do you real good.
Perhaps you are the nerds?
Maybe the Rombots are afraid that Palin will give the nerd Romney a swirlie.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
Sam,
ReplyDeleteThen you know how some of us feel coming to this site.
HAHA
Sam,
ReplyDeleteTime for your Purple Nurple...
A.J.R.
Why does Romney only get 16-17% in the polls after running for Presiident for the past 5 years.
ReplyDeleteHAHA
Sam,
ReplyDeleteMost of you guys and gals are proud to be called droids. If that isn't nerdy...I don't know what is.
A.J.R.
No Sam, you have it all wrong...Romney is the nerd, you have a gastrointestinal problem and Palin beat Romney with a clam bake.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
BTW, we're just having a little fun. We're all on the same side.
Rick Santorum is announcing today. Good thing Palin isn't in PA today.
ReplyDeleteHAHA
New picture of Anthony Weiner sent to chick!
ReplyDeleteNot graphic, but creepy. This man is finished.
http://biggovernment.com/
She was spotted near a Philly Cheese Steak stand!
ReplyDeletePalin will be in Iowa this week. The bus is probably already there.
ReplyDeleteShe'll be going too Sudan in July, with a potential stop in England on the way back.
HAHA
Weiner is such a weird name.
ReplyDeleteNot as classy as Oscar Myer!
Aren't there going to be even more pics of him released? If so, he is finished. The GOP may have a chance at his perhaps soon to be vacant House seat. Doesn't Weiner's House seat lean more Republican than other NYC House seats?
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
AJR,
ReplyDeleteI think Weiner represents Manhatten...so, no.
Here's a map of the grilled Weiner's district.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.weiner.house.gov/district.aspx
RW,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I think Juan Williams was saying something last week about his district being more Republican but I guess he was mistaken.
A.J.R.
It looks like Queens and Brooklyn. Someone with more knowledge about NYC would need to make the call. I don't know.
ReplyDeleteWeiner got 93% of the vote in 2008. LOL
ReplyDeleteRW,
ReplyDeleteOuch....never mind the GOP pick up.
A.J.R.
Weiner won 60-39 in 2010
ReplyDeleteAJR, I think you're right...Juan Williams did say that. I think some of the neighborhoods, in his district, has had some economic turnaround so the theory is the district will be in play...not a definite but definitely in play.
ReplyDeletejerseyrepublican
Sarah's going to Sudan and England. That is some bus!
ReplyDeleteWell, knowing New Yorkers, Weiner will win in a landslide now.
ReplyDeleteAt least Teledude and Smack have senses of humor and personality. The Adam X character is all negative, kind of like that Stephen Hall character.
ReplyDeleteI may be in the minority, but I think Tex is hysterical. And everyone thinks he's from France and he just let's them think that.
ReplyDeletehamaca...I've never seen the Adam X guy. I have seen the Total Conservative in action and he is always messing with people.
ReplyDeleteA.J.R.
Sarah Palin is embarrassing herself. If she had handlers they would put a muzzle on her.
ReplyDeleteThe more she talks the more people realize she has absolutely no business being near the White House.
hamaca
ReplyDeleteYeah, Smack and tele do have a sense of humor, true.
and I agree... TEX is hilarious. When I imitated him above, I was laughing hysterically.
"palin throws crooks like mittens in prison for breakfast" - LOL!!!!!!!!!!
clam bake
