Haley Barbour: "Purity is the Enemy of Victory" (VIDEO)

I'm glad that I heard about Barbour's speech at the Faith & Freedom Conference via the RS Chat Box.

Barbour's message is a message that I myself have said on several occasions. Are you one of those Republicans who requires a WHOLE POLITICAL PIE to satisfy your appetite? If you are, then Barack Obama hopes you don't change your mind. Because as Barbour points out, you won't find a candidate you agree with 100% of the time. But you will agree with that person a whole lot more, than you will President Obama.

Haley Barbour's Speech IS EXCELLENT and well worth listening to and more importantly, THINKING ABOUT.

  2. Barbour is on my good side for sure now.

I emailed his office yesterday asking him to start an "11th Commandment PAC" to encourage party unity and focus on winning.

    He is doing good work.

  3. That was a good speech, and I completely agree. Our primary purpose is the defeat of Obama. After the primary we must unify behind the nominee. I hope the people who are saying "I'll never vote for _____ " are listening.

Let's be smart and nominate the best person for the job - clearly Romney ;) - then get behind him and win the White House!

  4. That was excellent, and exactly right.

It's a shame we will not get to hear from Barbour in the debates, because he has a lot to offer, and is a real leader. He would make a very good president.

  5. Martha: Perhaps he can be a moderator at a debate. That would be cool, I think.

  8. I sincerely hope Rush, Glen, Levin, DeMint, etc has a chance to listen to this say 2, 3 or 150 times.
