Sarah Palin Turns down Keynote address at CPAC

After skipping the popular Conservative Political Action Conference for the past three years, Sarah Palin has once again turned down the invitation of CPAC officials to address the conference this year.

CPAC organizers invited Palin to deliver the closing-night keynote speech on Saturday Feb. 12, immediately following the announcement of the results of CPAC’s annual presidential straw poll,  but after several days of negotiations, she declined.

  2. I think this is a 2 x 4 over the heads of her 'supporters' to let them know in a not so subtle way that ....

    SHE's NOT RUNNING.

Besides, I feel it was more a money issue than a scheduling issues. Just mo of course.

  7. She may not be running, but this doesn't necessarily prove that she's not, IMO.

Palin can't afford to go to CPAC, be the keynote, and then lose the straw poll. She just can't. Talk about knocking the wind out, before you even announce. With all the terrible polls coming out, losing at CPAC would really add injury to insult.

  9. CPAC probably just failed to tack on enough zeros to her speaking fee offer.
